What you bring

The ability and experience to ensure that marketing projects are executed using Agile methodologies, with a focus on flexibility, adaptability, and continuous improvement. An intimate awareness of working closely with the creative team to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients and stakeholders.

What you’ll do

Project planning: Collaborate with the client, account manager, and creative team to define project scope, objectives, timeline, and deliverables. Create agile project details which may include plans, scrum artifacts including milestones, tasks, and timelines.

Team Management: Facilitate agile meetings, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives. Work with the creative team to establish team norms, such as timeboxing and task prioritization, to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Budget management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring that projects are delivered within budget constraints.

Resource allocation: Determine the necessary resources (e.g., staff, equipment, software) required to execute the project. Assign tasks to team members, delegate responsibilities, and ensure the team is meeting project deadlines.

Risk management: Identify potential risks to project success and develop contingency plans to mitigate these risks. Ensure that the team is aware of potential risks and is prepared to address them if they arise.

Communication and collaboration: Facilitate effective communication among team members and stakeholders, ensuring that everyone is aligned on project goals, timelines, and deliverables. Maintain ongoing communication with clients and internal teams, providing regular updates on project status.

Quality assurance: Ensure that deliverables meet client expectations and are of high quality. Review work produced by the creative team to ensure that it meets the project brief and agency standards.

Reporting and analytics: Monitor project progress and report on key metrics, such as budget, timeline, and resource utilization. Use data and analytics to optimize project performance and identify areas for improvement.

Overall, the project manager is responsible for ensuring that marketing projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients and stakeholders. They are also responsible for managing the creative team, ensuring that their work is aligned with project goals and agency standards.

What you’ve got

  • University or college degree in a field related to the role or a combination of education and related experience
  • 5+ years of experience in project and delivery, with 2+ years in a marketing agency, digital/technology or consulting environment;
  • Active work/experience successfully delivering client solutions, consistently receiving high customer service reviews, resolving issues quickly; demonstrating the ability to define and delivery high quality services to customers; and delivering profitable service portfolios.
  • Experience and proficiency working with common project management and tools such as Excel, SharePoint/Microsoft Lists, Smartsheet, Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Slack, Microsoft Teams, Office and/or other custom solutions.
  • Successful implementation in a content driven agile project setting is a plus – including continuous delivery, continuous deployment, and continuous improvement.
  • PMP, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) credentials, Project Management, Agile Certification and/or equivalent training is nice to have.
  • Experience with Dynamics 365 related tech stack and power platform is ideal
  • Self-driven with proven experience working with multi-disciplinary remote teams (CX, UX, Tech, Creative, PM/AM) across remote offices.
